I continued my studies at Northern Illinois University & The University of Chicago for a Masters in Education. I have been working in Chicago Public Schools for the last 18 years as a Primary Teacher.
As an Educator, I try to come to school with a positive attitude every day. My goal is to conduct my mind and spirit to be committed to my students’ learning achievement. I cultivate my student’s curiosity and interest in learning new things. I am convinced that motivation plays a crucial role in the students’ learning development. I am a Bilingual Teacher at Brighton Park. What I love about BP is the effort and compromise of Administrators and Faculty to maintain an effective learning environment for our students. I love weekends to reunite with my extensive family. We celebrate all kinds of important dates such as birthday, anniversaries, graduations, etc. We take any opportunity to spend time together. I was born and raised in Mexico. There, I attended Motolinia University for a Marketing Degree. I came to Chicago and attended National Louis University for a Bachelor in Psychology. I continued my studies at Northern Illinois University & The University of Chicago to obtain a Masters in Education. What I love about BP are the high standards and commitment of Administrators and Faculty to elevate our students’ achievement.
