Ms. Williams attended Roosevelt University before moving on to St. Xavier University to earn her masters. She was raised right her in Chicago!
Ms. Williams feels it is important that everyone learns in modes that will cultivate their interest, embrace their culture, and prepare them for the work force. Her philosophy is that everyone is intelligent and wants to learn, one person is not “smarter” than the other.
This year, Ms. Williams is teaching literacy to fifth graders. She loves the compassion and dedication that the teachers here have for students.
Ms. Williams has two sons, an almost feral dog, and four siblings. She makes a point to read 3-4 chapters of a book each week! Her personal interests are dancing, shopping, preparing her budget, and taking her kids to exhibits, shows, and venues throughout the city.
