Each week our Network Chief is hosting a virtual meeting with parents.  She and others from the district will be sharing information and answering any questions you have.  The meeting will be in English each Wednesday at 3 and in Spanish each Wednesday at 4.  The same link can be used for both meetings each week: meet.google.com/wra-etiz-tpj

A-Z Countdown

Sunday, 5/24: Art Day - Create something to beautify your home.  Check out Ms. Spyer’s YouTube page for some great ideas (Ms. Spyer ART)
Monday, 5/25: Bravery Day - In honor of the brave members of the armed forces that we remember on Memorial Day, do a little something brave today.  Maybe that means cleaning out the scary parts of your room (under the bed?) or trying something new.
Tuesday, 5/26: Census Day - This week is Census Week!  Read this flyer about how important the census is to Brighton Park and Chicago
Wednesday, 5/27: Dance Party Day - Everyone can use a little more dancing in their lives!  Find time today to dance with your family or all by yourself. 
Thursday, 5/28: Exercise Day - Take extra time today to get some extra exercise.  There are fun exercises to do inside or out - here are a couple of great options from Coach K: Fitness Deck Bottle Flip Chaos
Friday, 5/29: Fort Day - We’ve been staying home to stay healthy; it’s time to change up our surroundings!  With parent permission (or help!), build a blanket or pillow fort.  Use your bed or a table as support and decorate the inside of your fort.  Take a picture to share!

All Chicago Public Schools are currently closed do the Covid 19 crisis. 

 All students and their families should be staying at home and avoiding contact with others to help stop the spread of the virus. 

Food is available for all children daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  All families are eligible for three days worth of meals (breakfast and lunch) for each child in their family.  

Remote learning starts Monday, August 13th.  Use the Remote Learning Plans link above to access weekly learning plans from your child's teacher.
